Custom Domain Hosting Settings for Storefronts

Sometimes customers prefer to host their standard CareGLP storefront on their own domain instead of on careglp.com. This involves steps on both the the customer side and, afterwards, on the CareValidate side. These are the Domain Name System (DNS) settings needed on the customer side for a custom domain such as example.com:

  • An A record pointing the entire domain name, sometimes annotated as @, to the following value: 199.36.158.100. This should be the only A record for the domain name.
  • A TXT record pointing the entire domain, sometimes annotated as @, to the following value: hosting-site=care360-next

Alternatively, when using a subdomain such as careglp.example.com, then these are the DNS settings that would be needed:

  • A CNAME record pointing careglp, the subdomain name in this example, to the following value: care360-next.web.app. This should be the only CNAME record for the subdomain name.

Once the DNS settings are configured, please inform the account manager and CareValidate will complete the domain setup.
